St Barbara is the only Australian gold mining company in 2019 to receive the “Employer of Choice for Gender Equality” citation from the Workplace Gender Equality Agency.

Addressing the pay gap is key to creating gender equality and we conduct a monthly pay gap analysis and an annual like-for-like analysis. By regularly analysing our data, we have reduced our pay gap from 43% in 2007 to 12% in December 2018. Importantly, we have maintained a nil gender pay gap for ‘like-for-like’ roles since at least 2013.
