Brett has almost more than 30 years of industry experience having worked in most States and Territories in Australia, Indonesia and West Africa.  Brett joined St Barbara in November 2020 as Head of Technical Services & Innovation.

Prior to joining St Barbara, Brett held senior technical management roles with Resolute, Newcrest and Newmont.  His experience spans geology, geotechnical engineering, mining engineering, business and strategic planning, project management, studies and business development.

Brett graduated from the University of WA with a double major in Geology & Environmental Geomechanics in 1994, before doing post graduate studies in Mining Geomechanics at the West Australian School of Mines and Mining Engineering at the University of Ballarat.  Brett is a Fellow of the Ausimm.
