Randy joined St Barbara in 2022 as General Manager Simberi Operations and on 1 July 2023 was appointed Executive General Manager Simberi Operations. Randy has over 30 years of operating experience in a range of roles including mine engineering, operational leadership roles through to General Manager. International mining experience includes roles in Canada, Australia, Tanzania, India, Mongolia, and Papua New Guinea (PNG). Randy’s previous PNG experience was at the Porgera mine as Underground Manager/Mining Manager.

Previous General Manager experience includes roles with Red River Resources and Nyrstar. Randy has experience in new mine development and mine expansion, with a focus on permitting and community/employee engagement.
