Roger has more than 30 years of gold exploration industry experience working mostly in the Asia Pacific region and North America. Since joining St Barbara in 2013 Roger progressed from General Manager Project Execution South West Pacific to Head of Global Exploration in 2020.

Prior to working for St Barbara, Roger held technical and senior technical management roles with Dominion Mining Ltd, Ross Mining NL, Auzex Resources Ltd and Oceana Gold Corporation.

Roger graduated from James Cook University with a Bachelor of Science double major in geology and then Honours, specialising in metalliferous economic geology, field geology and geochemistry. Roger has since completed a PhD on the Geology and Genesis of the Timbarra Intrusion Related Gold Deposits.
